“Killing God” in Papua (1/2)

Dok: Ist/Google. (Responding Positively to Nietzsche's Philosophical Thought)

*Siorus Degei

In writing this time, we will jointly reference and relevant the thoughts of a great thinker, namely Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche. We will not examine all of Nietzsche's vast and profound thoughts.

We will limit our discussion to Nietzsche's Thoughts on Herd Mentality, Slave Morality Versus Slave Morality, and "God Is Dead".

In short, we want to explore his philosophical thoughts on how to become an integral human being without having to get carried away like a herd of animals. So that in turn we are able to appear as the "God of Nihilism" and "Fake God Killer", "God of Creation of the NKRI Colonial System" in West Papua.

We will try to use Nietzsche's thinking to criticize the Papuan people who always appear as "the flock" when holding peaceful demonstrations.

That with Nietzsche's thoughts, we want to examine the levels of ideology, nationalism and patriotism of the West Papuan people, do they really originate and exist from the heart or are they nothing more than a mass construction and projection.

That is the ideology, nationalism and patriotism of the West Papuan people pure and solid or just a "KTP, Formality, Instant and pseudo" wrapped up in a mass flock movement?

That do Papuans only want to demand independence if there are many more Papuans around them or even if they are alone they are still consistently fighting for their fate?

Get to know Nietzsche

Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche (1844–1900) was a German philosopher of the late 19th century who challenged Christian foundations and traditional morality.

She is interested in advancing 'individual health' and culture, and believes in life, creativity, power and the realities of the world we live in rather than all that exists on the other side of the world.

The core of its philosophy is the concept of 'affirmation of life' which requires us to ask honestly about all the doctrines that drain energy even though that view may be socially common.

Often referred to as one of the existentialist philosophers along with Søren Kierkegaard (1813–1855), Nietzsche's living philosophy has inspired prominent figures in all walks of cultural life including singers, novelists, poets, painters, psychologists, philosophers. , sociologists and social activists.

Nietzsche is a genius thinker. He has been a Professor at the University of Leipzig since he was 24. He has written many good books since his youth.

is the Teaching of Christian Morality which greatly weakens the passion and will to rule in human identity as an absolute condition for the path to an integral superhuman existence.

While human masters, is the contradiction of human slaves. Human masters are human beings who dare to follow their pure instincts, conscience and basic will without frills and the intervention of external moral values that dwarf such as religion and others.

Human masters are those who become masters, kings, leaders, generals and Commander-in-Chief over themselves, those who are able to be independent independently without being bound and subject to any external moral values that incidentally colonize and enslave.

More or less, that is Nietzsche's philosophical concept of the human face of a slave and a human master. In fact, Nietzsche's philosophical construction is inseparable from himself that he is a human genius who is arrogant and who has never been subject to external moral values in the life of society which according to him only enslaves humans not to appear as humans in essence are strong, mighty.

Even Nietzsche never gave up and submitted to his pain and disability, he was confident because he was a genius. So indeed in certain respects Nietzsche's philosophical concept really helps us appear as real human beings who are not easily slaves and are not too concerned about being perfect human beings, because in essence human beings are never perfect.

The following is based on Nietzsche's view of the nature of the Slave Man and Master Man above. So next we will look together and reflect on the nature of indigenous Papuans who are often referred to as Orang Asli Papua (OAP).

The context for the construction of the Papuan people that we want to see here is the Papuan people on the path of emancipation and revolution for self-determination of the West Papuan nation.

That we want to take a closer look at whether so far in the history of the struggle of the West Papuan people towards a realm of independence they have appeared as Slave Humans or Master Humans as described by Nietzsche as human beings?

We can use many assumptions to see and describe the nature of the Papuan people during the resistance movement against the colonial government of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI). Based on Nietzsche's thought, we will divide it into two, namely human beings and human masters.

OAP as "Slave Man"

In essence politically and colonially administratively, the political status of the West Papuan nation based on international law is a nation of slaves or a nation of colonies of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia. That it is true that the people of West Papua are a nation of colonies or slaves of the NKRI invaders and their allies.

So it's not wrong if we say that it is true that the existence, essence and substance of the Papuan people within the framework of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia are neither more nor less than slaves.

I don't know if OAP has a status, profession, achievement, prestige, popularity and social, political, economic, cultural and religious strata that are high, big and fast but in the eyes of the state, especially in the eyes of the system of Neo-Imperialism, Neo-colonialism, Neo-capitalism, Neo-feudalism and colonial Neo-liberalism of the Republic of Indonesia and its allies the West Papuan people or OAP are and are only culture. They are like hunted animals that are legitimate if they want to be killed and slaughtered inhumanely by the authorities. Continued. (*)
